Grooves were cut in the bone saddle to lower the action. Nice! This is not the first time I've seen this tactic but it never gets old. As my daddy would say, "chain saw carpenter!" Okay, this will have to be fixed.
While we're staring at this picture, what's up with the bridge? Yeah, it's plastic and bolted on through the underside. Why would Gibson do something like this?
So I guess I should probably replace the bridge too. That will probably be the last item on my list.
