Tear Down...

Here's another look at the aftermath. It doesn't get much uglier! This is about the time I start asking, "why didn't I just set it out to the curb on trash day?"

Note that there is about a 3/32" gap or void between the top and the sides. The migration caused the top to crush, and create this void. Check out too, how the ivory banding is bent inward from the 25+ years of force.
