Rebuild...

In preparation for the neck reset, I heated the banding and bent it to get the inward kinks out. I then super glued the banding to the sides since the sides followed the correct contour.

I filled in the voids that were left between the banding and the body with wood filler. After sanding smooth, I slopped some black lacquer on with a small artist brush.

Looks nice doesn't it. 😃
