Finally, here is the jig, cleat and clamps being test fit before gluing.

After gluing the neck cleat into place, it was time to concentrate on the neck and sides of the body. As I previously mentioned, I bubbled the paint where the neck joined the sides, so I decided to strip the sides and re-stain.
